The Journey Pt7: Dark Emperor

Here is the epic battle for our lives for you! It's pretty long this time, but I didn't want to split it. Have fun!


We advance slowly deeper and deeper in the ancient caverns. A rotten stench fills the air and makes it hard to breathe. In the distance, we see a light shimmering. Strange noises come from this direction. There must be a huge lair or something! It seems, we found, what we're looking for. We pass a narrow hallway and the tension and fear gets our hackles up. We enter the lair and what we see makes us freeze in fear. We look on a giant made of stone, sitting on his throne, hewn in the ancient walls and built on bone and flesh. The giant gazes at us with dead eyes and suddlenly raises his voice. "You dare to come to my realms and disturb my eternal sleep! You will pay for this dismiss with your lives!". His voice rumbles like thunder in the cave and it was heared his minions, who followed us all the way since we started our journey. A pack of huge, black wolves enter the room and focus with eyes so cold and dark like the eyes of their master. An endless moment long, nothing happens and nobody dares to breathe. Suddenly one of the wolves starts running at me! Before I can do anything, the enormous beast knocks me down. I lie on the ground and can't breathe. I'm afraid, this is the end...

But all my friends and brave followers on this quest prove me wrong! ~mysticmorning appears out of nowhere, a pack of creepy creatures on her side. Her creations blast forward with unbelievable power, attacking the wolves and distracting them from the rest of us. ~pingallery uses her huge experience of architecture to find a way to pass this battlefield. She stands right in front of the giant. He tries to crush her with his fists, but she manages to avoid his attacks. *TricksterNabi and *digswolf come to help her, the hammer and battle axe of heavy metal in their hands. The two warriors attack with great power and smite one arm of the giant to smithereens. ~AnnoyedGirl strikes one wolf down with anger and brutal force, saving ~gormed from an attack. It seems, that he can celebrate his birthday tomorrow! Gormed himself seems to be in a sort of trance. Suddenly, rays of light and color break out his eyes, knocking the evil emperor back. =tabzthefish joined the fight and takes out the last of the bloodthirsty wolves. Many other deviants fought all brave and fearless, protecting each other with the power of their art and creativity. Together we stand against the giant, who is severely wounded but still dangerous. With a last, massive attack, the united deviants bring the dark emperor an his knees. Again, he raises his voice, but faint and weak this time: "Wait, stop this rage! You've proven to be great warriors and I bend my knee before you. Freedom may be yours, but please, leave ma alive!". The deviants approach slowly and careful to the exit of the cave, with hope in their hearts, that this sheer madness may be over ...
